Sep 20 - Norskedalen’s Threshing Bee – Celebrate an old-time Threshing Bee in an authentic pioneer setting complete with a wide variety of demonstrations of farm and home skills. There are children’s activities, horse drawn wagon rides and other animals on the farm, and don’t forget to make reservations for the mouth-watering, rib-sticking threshing dinner. 10 AM to 5PM at Norskedalen Nature and Heritage Center near Coon Valley.  $5 Adults, $2 Children, $12 Family.  For more information call 608.452.3424 or visit www.norskedalen.org

Sep 29, 30 & Oct 1 - Central Wisconsin Ag Venture - spud, berry & dairy tour.  This 3 day motorcoach tour will highlight Cental Wisconsin's rich agricultural resources while showcasing the beautiful fall colors.  Tour stops include state-of-the art dairy and vegetable farms, UW Ag Research facility, cranberry bogs & processing plants.  We'll also visit quaint shops, eat local fare, & visit cheese factories.  See www.centralwisconsin.org or call (800) 236-4636.
